## How it works

You will add the shortcode to your page and a North Commerce customer that has a WordPress user account. **The shortcode will only render for WordPress user's that are logged in that have a connected North Commerce customer id to their WordPress user account on your website.** So they must register via the North Commerce [Customer Registration](/north-commerce/shortcodes/customer-registration.md)
