# Installation

North Commerce is a WordPress plugin. If you are familar with how to upload a WordPress plugin zip file then you will find this very familar.

Now that you have downloaded the plugin or purchased the [pro version of the plugin](https://northplugins.com/pricing) you can follow the directions below to install the plugin or watch the video above.

1. Login to your WordPress admin by navigating to yourwebsite.com/wp-admin\
   Once you have logged in you will see the WordPress dashboard.\
   On the left column -> Click Plugins -> Add New<br>

   2\. Click the "Upload Plugin" button and navigate to the *north-commerce.zip* file and upload the plugin.<br>

   The plugin will take about 30 or so seconds to upload.

3\. Once the plugin has been uploaded you will be prompted to activate the plugin. Click "Activate Plugin"<br>

Now that you have activated the plugin you will be see "North Commerce" on the left hand column of your WordPress dashboard.<br>
